We would like to say a big thank you to Spectra staff who took part and raised money for Children In Need today.

BBC Children in Need is the BBC’s UK charity. Since 1980 it has raised over £1 billion for disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.

Here’s some photos of the Spectra Toolroom (and some extras) who embraced the non-uniform day by wearing some very vibrant and showstopping shirts, several of which are Claudio Lugli shirts.

We heard Darren Davies from the Toolroom couldn’t decide which shirt to wear for Children in Need so brought in 5 and wore them all throughout the day. Top effort!

Routinely, Spectra staff get involved in a wide range of charity events to raise money. These include regular staff fundraising events for Macmillan Cancer Support, Children In Need and Samaritan’s Purse International Relief UK.

As a business, Spectra contributes regular donations to a breadth of worthwhile causes, including Cancer Research, East of England Ambulance Service, as well as funding support for local schools, sports clubs, fundraising marathon runners, village halls and playgrounds to name just a few.

The firm’s social responsibility commitments have been established over the years to increase overall engagement with the local community as well as employees and customers to create a greater connection with society.
