Warehouse Operative

Reporting to: Planning & Logistics Manager

Working hours: 6.00am to 2pm / 2pm – 10pm rotating shifts on alternative weeks. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Key tasks and Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading of lorries, following goods in and out procedures and checking all product both arriving and being dispatched from site.
• Storing finished products into warehouse in an efficient manner in preparation for dispatch; creating records of details and location.
• Delivering materials and consumables into Production facilities in line with requirements.
• Providing a bottle supply for our Decoration department in line with requirements.
• Working to FIFO systems in place on all stored goods.
• Taken responsibility for general site cleanliness and maintaining good housekeeping practices within the department to ensure a health & safety environment is provided.
• Support the Company’s continual improvement programme including following best working practise and procedures and knowledge sharing.

Desirable requirements:

• 2 years or more experience in a warehouse environment
• 2 years of more experience operating a counter-balance forklift
• Experience in using IT software, inclusive of MS and preferably ERP/MRP systems.
