TOOLMAKER / MACHINIST

Due to continued expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Toolmaker/Machinist.  The successful candidate will have experience in milling, turning, grinding and CNC machining.  

Key responsibilities include:

• Manufacture new tooling using the latest CNC machines, tools and equipment.

• Complete any relevant records detailing all servicing / repair work carried out.

• Carry out repairs, manufacture and/or modification of ancillary equipment.

• Adhering and working to health and safety.

• Adherence to company policies and procedures.

• Communicating effectively and positively within the team as well as  all other departments.

• Maintain, service and repair existing tooling and provide engineering support to production departments.

You will:

• Have at least two years’ experience as a Toolmaker and/or Machinist within a similar setting. 

• CAM programming is desirable, however training will be provided for the right candidate.

• Be an excellent team player with effective interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships with others.

• Be honest, reliable and accountable

• Be hard-working with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.

• Be conscientious with a sharp eye for detail and a pride in delivering excellence consistently.

• Innovative in exploring better ways of working and using your own initiative to find solutions.

• Committed to sustainability in terms of supporting the environment.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Fridays 8am to 4pm.
