An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Production Controller.
This role involves supporting the EBM & IM Department management team in the day to day running and efficiency of production jobs. Monitoring paperwork in the department, making sure all components are available and made ready to comply with specifications. Facilitating successful completion of production runs in line with planning schedules. You will also support continuous improvement initiatives and compliance with company procedures.
As Production Controller your duties & responsibilities will include:
• Monitoring Production records, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Ensuring all materials and equipment are available for scheduled production.
• Producing and collating figures/reports (Excel & Word competence).
• Maintaining effective, positive communication with related departments.
• Ensuring manufacturing orders comply with specifications and reflect projected consumption of materials.
• Finalising completed manufacturing orders and samples, adjusting to reflect accurate costings and stock consumption.
• Monitoring and replenishing department consumables.
• Updating and completing manufacturing orders accurately on ERP software.
• Taking an active role in the implementation of ERP processes and improvements.
• Conducting weekly stock checks.
You will be:
• Able to manage your own time, plan your own workload and meet set targets and prioritise effectively.
• Experienced in reporting on Word and Excel.
• An excellent team player with effective interpersonal skills to engage in active discussions regarding projects and build positive relationships with others.
• Honest, reliable and accountable.
• Hard-working with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
• Conscientious with a sharp eye for detail and a pride for delivering excellence consistently.
