Due to continued expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen for full time Assistant Supervisor in the Injection Stretch Blow Moulding Department working a 12-hour shift pattern.
Duties & Responsibilities
- To support the supervisor in his daily duties and to cover annual leave.
- To promote and lead by example, setting a positive team environment, where all managers/employees work together for the good of the business.
- Carry out planned tool and colour changes within the department.
- Fault finding on machinery, making process adjustments and continuous improvements throughout the process.
- Ensure optimum processes are established and maintained.
- Following company procedures, whilst supporting the shift team.
- Ensuring products meet with set quality standards
- Ensure that the work area is kept clean and tidy throughout the shift.
- To carry out all other production activities as efficiently as possible, adhering to the highest quality ISO and health & safety standards.
You will be:
- Experienced within a Plastic processing environment, Injection Stretch Blow moulding experience would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
- The ability to lead, motivate and support others.
- An excellent team player with effective interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships with others.
- Proactive in fault diagnosis and problem-solving, using initiative.
- Able to pick up processes and operations effectively.
- Honest, reliable and accountable.
- Hard-working with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Conscientious with a sharp eye for detail and a pride for delivering excellence consistently.
- Innovative in exploring better ways of working and using your own initiative to find solutions.
