Spectra report successful Packaging Innovations appearance
Spectra Packaging's appearance at Packaging Innovations last month has been hailed a success, proving to our most successful showing to date.
The prestigious two-day packaging show, held at the Birmingham NEC, was Spectra's 6th consecutive appearance and according to Managing Director Joe Maynard, it was the companies best.
"We've enjoyed extremely fruitful appearances at this show over the years and it enables us the perfect opportunity to showcase our creative talents. This year's exhibition saw us strengthen our position as the leading independent creative packaging supplier with huge visitor interest in our latest innovative offerings".
Spectra's new re-branded stand featured a centerpiece display showcasing new innovation prototypes as well our latest developments in print technologies. Spectra’s advances in biopolymer packaging and glass polymer packaging were also on show.
Joe went on to say, "Visitors were genuinely fascinated by our latest creations and it was hugely encouraging to receive the amount of enquiries we took over the two days. More importantly, the quality of enquiries taken was better as well".
Spectra encountered particular interest in their latest print techniques, which included their new Braille raised print offering. Other effects shown were a new ink finish that changes appearance under different lighting conditions and a new invisible print effect that is only visible under ultra violet light.
Additionally, Spectra’s latest advances in glass polymer packaging drew encouraging attention from customers seeking a traditional thick glass appearance with all the benefits of rigid plastic.
Joe said, "All and all, it's been a very exciting time for the company, with new technology developments as well as the launch of our latest product catalogue. Although it was two really busy days for all our team involved, Packaging Innovations proved to be a great platform for Spectra yet again".
Spectra's next show appearance will be in September at Packaging Innovations Olympia, London, stand number F28.
