The radical looking Beached Bondi Bum Natural Body Firmer and Urban Waves Natural Hair Texturiser, highlight Spectra's expert in-house tooling capabilities and has been selected as one of the most creative packs on the Innovation showcase stand at the London event.

The distinctive pebble-shaped packs were also moulded in 100% recycled plastic, providing Spectra’s customer with a genuinely environmental packaging solution for their product.

Jonathan Powell, Sales Director at Spectra, proudly remarked,

“It is heartening to see a project we have worked on receive recognition. From an innovative and environmental packaging perspective, we firmly believe the Beached packs confidently tick both boxes”.

Selected by a panel of expert judges, the 12 shortlisted innovations will be displayed at the show where visitors will be able to vote for their chosen submission.

The winning entry will then be unveiled at the Keynote Theatre on the second day of the event.

This year’s entry will be Spectra’s second successive appearance on the Innovation Showcase stand. Last year the company was included for their PCR10 scheme, a mandatory environmental opt-out commitment that saw Spectra include 10% recycled plastics to all future bottle manufacturing.

Jonathan went on to say,

“Inclusion of the Beached pack on the Innovation Showcase offers us an excellent opportunity to illustrate what can be achieved with creative custom tooling combined with the environmental benefits of recycled content”.

Packaging Innovations is at London Olympia on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th September where Spectra will be on stand D22.
