Spectra will be making a return visit to PCD (Packaging of Perfume Cosmetics Design) in Paris later this January following another strong year in the French market.

Widely considered as one of the premier events within the cosmetic packaging industry, PCD promises the very latest packaging trends.

Staged at Porte de Versailles in Paris, the prestigious event will gather nearly 500 exhibitors from leading suppliers as well as buyers and influencers from across Europe and beyond.

With export growth flourishing in many European territories, including Germany, the Netherlands and Scandinavia, the French market continues to prove huge importance for Spectra according to Jonathan Powell, Sales Director.

Jonathan said, “Despite the current uncertainty regarding the potential consequences of Brexit, we enjoyed success across Europe over the past few years, particularly in France. The vibrant French personal care market continues to offer exciting opportunities for our long-term export ambitions”.

The firm’s stand this year will focus on their four-step standard solution display that shows you don’t necessarily have to use custom tooling alone to create a unique packaging outcome.

The eye-catching display illustrates how by simply combining a standard bottle with a standard closure brands can achieve a genuinely individual outcome. What’s more, Spectra’s expertise in colouring and decoration can provide the icing on the cake for brands who need to stand out from the crowd. The table will also show examples of Spectra’s expert custom tooling services.

Additionally, the stand will highlight many of Spectra’s off-the-shelf designs in both HDPE and PET. For brands looking for environmental materials, a dedicated display explaining post-consumer recycled packaging and bioplastics has been designed to explain the benefits of sustainable options for customers who are unsure of where to start.

Jonathan went on to say, “We have witnessed increased demand in recent years for more sustainable packaging alternatives; hopefully, our stand display will provide help to those customers looking for answers. This show will give us the ideal platform to illustrate that we not only satisfy environmental demands, but we are also a genuinely responsible manufacturer of plastics”.

PCD (Packaging of Perfume Cosmetics Design) Paris is staged at Porte de Versailles, Paris on 29th and 30th of January 2020. Spectra can be located on Stand No. K29.
