Spectra have announced impressive first quarter export sales figures illustrating the company's continued growth in overseas markets.

The figures show 70% growth in a number of European countries, most notably in Germany and Scandinavia.

Joe Maynard, Managing Director at Spectra believes the company has everything in place to grow further on the global stage.

"We have gradually increased our export sales with a succession of excellent results and there are a number of reasons why we continue to perform well internationally. Certainly increased exposure, through trade shows and a strong reputation, has meant overseas customers have got to know and trust the Spectra brand. Additionally, we are blessed with a superb network of agents working hard to support us in a number of European territories".

Spectra's export success has also been aided with last year's appointment of Charlotte Clark as Export Sales Administrator. Her position means the company has a dedicated point of contact within their UK office, dealing specifically with overseas customers; aiding Spectra's export markets.

Mr. Maynard added, "The addition of Charlotte to our busy team in the UK has given our overseas customers excellent support. With the ability to devote time to looking after our contacts across Europe, Charlotte's appointment has helped Spectra build strong foundations which are reaping rewards internationally".

He added, "Despite continued uncertainty regarding the UK's role within the European Union, Spectra continue to make fruitful inroads into what is a very important market for us, long may it continue".
