Spectra report successful Paris show appearance
Spectra recently appeared at Packaging of Perfume Cosmetics & Design (PCD), confirming the event was highly successful.
The two-day show, staged at the Porte de Versailles in Paris, was Spectra’s second appearance at the prestigious packaging event with high visitor numbers to the stand registered.
Joe Maynard, Managing Director at Spectra said, “As we continue to strengthen our overseas presence, this year’s show proved very worthwhile as the French market in particular plays a valuable part of our export growth. With a clear focus on cosmetics and personal care, PCD gave us the opportunity to really connect with visitors operating in similar market sectors as ourselves”.
Despite continued uncertainty surrounding Brexit, Spectra recently announced impressive overseas sales figures of in excess of 30% growth and see shows like PCD an excellent stage to raise the company's overseas profile.
Widely regarded as one of the key European packaging exhibitions on the circuit, PCD attracts 6,000 visitors with 450 exhibitors presenting their innovations to the industry. Co-located with ADF (Aerosol & Dispensing Forum), the show has rapidly grown over recent years, prompting Spectra to book an even larger stand for next year’s event as Joe went on to confirm.
“As exhibiting continues to be an important sales and marketing tool for us, it is vital we identify shows that provide us with the most suitable and effective platforms to showcase the company. PCD has proved to be one such show and as a result, we will be appearing again in 2019 with an even bigger presence”
Spectra has a busy year of shows to look forward to in 2018 with appearances at Packaging Innovations Birmingham at the end of February and London Olympia in September.
In June Spectra will also be appearing at Cosmetic Business in Munich, another overseas event that Joe views as hugely important to Spectra’s continued European exposure.
He said, “Exhibiting in Munich will provide another opportunity to further establish our foothold in the German market which has seen significant growth in recent years for Spectra”.
