Spectra enjoy a successful return to Munich
Spectra’s recent return appearance at Cosmetic Business in Munich has been hailed a success.
The company’s Export Sales Manager, Gary Allard commented, “The high quality of contacts to our stand meant we benefited from an incredibly fruitful show. Cosmetic Business also provided us with a perfect opportunity to show visitors how far the business has evolved and grown since our last appearance in 2015”.
The highly regarded packaging event, held at the MOC in Munich, saw around 400 exhibitors, companies and brands showing the very latest trends, with footfall exceeding 40,000 over the two days.
With sustainability and environmental impact still high on the agenda within the packaging industry, Spectra experienced significant interest in their latest initiatives, including PCR10, the company’s mandatory opt-out initiative that will see 10% minimum recycled content added to all future bottle manufacturing.
Gary went on say, “The central sustainability display on our show stand prompted really positive conversations that enabled us to explain in more detail our objectives as a responsible manufacturer of plastics. Our post-consumer recycled and biopolymer materials were seen as proactive ways to encourage a circular solution, however, visitors were also interested in our efforts to minimise our environmental impact”.
As Spectra continue to enjoy success across various European territories that include France, Scandinavia, Holland and Germany amongst others, the company is looking to consolidate those successes with future appearances at overseas packaging events.
Spectra’s next European trade show appearance will be at PCD Paris in January 2019, whilst UK visitors can see the company appear again at the Packaging Innovation show held at London Olympia in September.
