Danish skincare brand Nøie recently took advantage of Spectra's post-consumer recycled (PCR) packaging for their customised skin cream product range.

Exact colour matched in a sophisticated deep trans blue, the new packs are moulded from 100% recycled PET content and take Spectra's popular Boston Round designs from their extensive standard ranges.

The stylish 200ml (Ref: 1066) and 500ml (1054) packs were completed using silk screen printing, including a subtle, yet visually effective matt ink carried out in Spectra's dedicated decoration department.

Alex Beveridge, Field Sales Representative at Spectra, said, "These beautifully understated packs perfectly illustrate how brands can achieve a premium look while embracing the environmental benefits of recycled plastics".

Spectra's PCR products, which are available in both PET and HDPE, continue to gain real momentum with customers seeking responsible packaging solutions for their products.

PCR materials offer a wide range of benefits. For example, the use of PCR reduces virgin plastic consumption and reuses recovered plastics such as single-use items, significantly reducing landfill dumping.

With all their products locally made in Copenhagen, using only the purest ingredients, Nøie has successfully developed a world-class customised skin cream experience. Their creams are 100% vegan and cruelty-free with no perfumes, colouring or preservatives, all produced in the most sustainable manner possible.

Silva Walker, Senior Account Manager at Raepak, who represent Nøie, said, "Spectra's environmentally friendly materials work harmoniously with Nøie's sustainable principles. The finished packs perfectly compliment their skincare products".
